A few months ago, The Bugle caught up with the latest in trends when we spoke with the creators of Modesty Wings!™. Local and National media outlets are now awash with news that the administrators over at Wasatch High (go WASPS!) tried to recreate the concept of Modesty Wings!™, but fell extremely short. We spoke with Sister Elyzabeth Whitney, spokeswoman for Modesty Wings!™, for a brief statement.
“We were a bit disappointed in the way these pictures were altered on a randomly selected group of young women. Like, did they use a flipping Sharpie to add sleeves? Barf!,” Whitney said. “What would have been more effective, and a LOT more stylish, would’ve been the option for young ladies with their flesh revealed during picture day to clip on a pair of our snazzy Modesty Wings!™”
“While the efforts of the school are noble, Wasatch High should ultimately be embarrassed by their poor Photoshop skills,” Whitney continued. “Not to mention, Modesty Wings!™ have a way of sending a message of worth, purity, and chastity: these pictures ended up looking quite blah, and don’t convey that same message.”
When asked about the sisters who had pictures with not their shoulders revealed but rather a little too much chest, Whitney replied, “I probably shouldn’t be talking about this since it’s still in the works, but we’re actually in the process of coming out with a Modesty Bib!™. Same concept, same chic look!”
Further, Whitney said that the company “would love to work with schools in the future to make certain that something like this doesn’t happen again. In order to encourage school administrators, we would be happy to offer a killer savings deal to make certain that you have enough Modesty Wings!™ for every daughter of God in school. Contact us today, and you’ll never have to worry about surprise seductions again!”
