Local Graywhale record store employee Jeremy Kaiser isn’t impressed with tonight’s “big-name band” playing at the Twilight Concert Series at Pioneer Park. The lesser-known opening band, however, is the reason he’s going.
“They’re so good, they should be the one opening,” Kaiser said. “As soon as they’re done playing, I’m getting out of there.” Kaiser also said he’s not surprised that most people attending Twilight probably don’t know the opening band’s songs. “Their music isn’t for the average person,” Kaiser says. “Only an aesthete can really appreciate it. It’s too radical for most people.”
